ABOUT

Tom Noonan is a musician, saxophonist and teacher hailing from Melbourne, Australia and living in Adelaide.

He graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts with First Class Honours. He studied with Ian Whitehurst, Tim Wilson, Julien Wilson, Jamie Oehlers, Peter Petrucci and Phil Noy. He has also undertaken private tuition with David Ades and Will Vinson.

He has performed with artists including Australian Art Orchestra, Vince Jones, Reuben Kaye, Rizo, Ensemble Offspring, Bopstretch, Cannonball, Julian Simonsz, James Muller, Eugene Ball, Alexander Flood, and the Thomas Voss Big Band. He co-directed the Bennetts Lane Big Band in 2014-15.  His first major creation, pas de deux, was released in 2018.

Tom teaches woodwinds and piano and is active as a creative and commercial musician.
